Hotel Martinez by Hyatt
Cannes, France
This hotel renovation project reflects the charm and the glamour of Côte d’Azur. The 5 star Hotel Martinez was inspired by an Art Deco style and the challenge was to develop designs for room entrances and communicated rooms, with doors and frames in a customized design. Portaro performance door sets selected with 30 minute fire rating and incorporating acoustic insulation varying between 40 and 42dB. The chosen finish was a stunning high gloss white lacquer, which created the perfect contrast to the predominant blue and yellow soft tones in the hotel.
Peninsula Paris Hotel
Paris, France
Vicaima was selected to provide joinery solutions for The Peninsula Paris Hotel, which is the first hotel of the HSH Group (Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels) in Europe. Exclusively designed for this project, the brief included doors, frames, skirting boards, panels and technical shafts, with tailor made detailing.
For the room entrances of this hotel, was exclusively developed and certified the Portaro® FD30 AC46dB. The Portaro® FD30 single and door pairs were also supplied for the corridors, and Portaro® FD30 AC41dB pairs for the technical shafts, these being highly effective products with regard to fire resistance and acoustic performance. Matching with the decoration and glamour of this hotel is the design of the Vicaima doors themselves, with flush doors and solid wood customized frames, in an acajou and specific high gloss finish.
WC Beautique Hotel

“Sustainable beauty, relaxing authenticity and a passionate balance ". This is a trendy project that marks a daring theme, inspired by a luxurious bathroom. With architecture by Nuno Leónidas and decoration by Nini Andrade Silva, this four-star hotel project included Vicaima fire and acoustic doors in the room entrances. Certified by accredited independent entities, Vicaima fire and acoustic solutions ensure high comfort, safety and reproduce in each project the desired vision at the level of design and finish.
Jupiter Albufeira Hotel
Algarve, Portugal
Various Vicaima solutions were integrated into the first 5 star hotel from the Jupiter Hotel Group. This luxury family resort, with around 400 rooms, results from a complete refurbishing which emphasizes design, flexibility and comfort. In view of the places of application, various Portaro® solutions were selected, such as 30 and 60 minute fire doors, technical shafts and fire and acoustic doors for the room entrances. Other solutions such as sliding doors or wardrobes were also developed according to the requirements of the project. The choice for brown and white shades enhances the elegance of the decoration and the relaxing and energising effect created for the interiors.
